A root canal treatment is used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. If not treated, the tissue surrounding the decayed will become infected and abscesses may form resulting in pain and tooth loss. We use modern technology like rotary endodontics which make the root canal treatment very easy and much less painful.

During a root canal procedure, first your gums and teeth are numbed. Then the nerve and pulp from the centre of a tooth are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and filled with root canal filing and then sealed. Finally if needed a tooth with a permanent crown is cemented into place.

A root canal treatment can also treat an infection that has developed into an abscessed tooth. A root canal treatment can relieve toothache, stop infection, and promote healing.
